Curriculum
Each year is divided into three house groups (forms) - Cecil, Spanning and Travers. In the first three years (7 – 9) these groups are also the main basic teaching groups, and pupils remain in these form groups throughout the school (Y7-Y13). All pupils follow the National Curriculum.
Pupils are placed in sets for mathematics at the beginning of Year 7. In Y8 setting occurs in English, French and German. Setting for science is introduced in Year 9.

Queen Elizabeth's – 25 hours per week
Secretary of State's recommended minimum – 24 hours per week
