Ski Trip 2012
22 January
We have all arrived safely at 12 noon local time. All equipment has been sorted and now just relaxing in rooms getting ready for tea.
23 January
Everyone has enjoyed the first day on the slopes. Lots of falling over, laughing and fun in the sun! Looking forward to swimming tonight after a pasta dinner.
24 January
Growing in confidence on the slopes. Another great day skiing. Swimming was very good and looking forward to pizza at Italian restaurant tonight.
26 January
Another good day on the slopes. We then went shopping in town and had a good time at the disco. Sun is shining again today and everyone is smiling.
Everyone enjoying themselves at karaoke. Really impressed at how well everyone is progressing in their skiing. All groups are moving on to red runs and lovivg the challenge.
January 27
Miss Dougall's group won the karaoke competition! The students have their assessment today so they are looking forward to displaying their skills on the slopes. Tonight will be the awards evening to celebrate their achievements.
All groups are now skiing the majority of the mountain. The ski instructors are at the hotel later ready to give out the awards. We are all sad that tomorrow is the last day on the slopes.
Everyone received their certificates. The instructors were impressed with their hardwork and determination to improve. We are now packing and preparing to come home.
28 January
Today is our last day on the slopes and it has started to snow. Everyone looking forward to their last day on the mountain.
Snowy day on the slopes and great way to end a really good week. We have just left the hotel on our long journey home.
January 29
Now back in the country and due at school at 12:15pm.
